Support Vote 16 YEA! at their Feb. 23rd event to bring awareness of youth voting issues affecting young people

 |
yli is My Story

At the upcoming Tuesday, February 23rd Board of Education meeting, Board of Education commissioners will consider a resolution of support for the effort to lower San Francisco’s voting age and include 16 and 17 year olds in municipal, school board, and community college board elections. If approved, this would go a long way in supporting the effort to have this placed on the November 2016 ballot by the Board of Supervisors. We hope you can come out, lend your voice, and join the effort–it promises to be a moving night!

We would be grateful if you can share this announcement with your youth programs, staff, networks, and via social mediaFB invite here.
