On Friday March 4, 2011 the YLI San Mateo County YO! Mateo youth leadership coalition reached their goal of collecting over 200 public surveys for the Smoke-Free Hollywood campaign in San Bruno and Burlingame, CA. YO! Mateo is part of an international movement to ban smoking in movies rated G, PG, and PG-13.  To celebrate their accomplishments YO! Mateo enjoyed a fun night at the movies. The youth of YO! Mateo are looking forward to analyzing the results of their action research, which we will share with you all.
