Adam was born and raised in Michigan where he completed his undergraduate education in East Asian Languages and Cultures, and Conservation Biology at Michigan State University. He also has a Master’s degree in Sustainable Development with a focus on policy advocacy and analysis as well as youth leadership and program development.
Adam is working with the San Mateo Youth Commission to assist youth in advocating for youth issues, advise the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors, present policy recommendations, and create projects that serve the county. Adam has supported the Youth Commission on projects ranging from environmental conservation, youth engagement in public green spaces, immigrant rights, marijuana prevention education, and mental health awareness, among others. Adam is committed to the development of youth potential.
