Although originally from the Bluebonnet state, Elaine Mensa-Wilmot is a recent master’s graduate from the Boston University School of Public Health with a degree in Health Law and Policy. As the daughter of Ghanaian immigrants who created American roots in Houston, Texas, Elaine has lived an upbringing steeped in a kaleidoscope of global and multicultural experiences. Thanks to those experiences, she is driven by a passion for sustainable community uplift and has made it her mission to seek out organizations voicing the same.
In her free time, you can find Elaine searching the city for live music and heading to movie theaters every other week. (If you see her, introduce yourself with a music recommendation!)
