Born in Mexico and raised in the Eastern Coachella Valley, Fátima Ramirez (she/her) has always been passionate about uplifting stories in her community.
Initially a youth participant herself, Fátima began working at yli as a program coordinator, focusing on addressing the disparities caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. She has also collaboratively created a countywide Youth Task Force that centers youth involvement in decision-making spaces as well as providing inclusive media training workshops.
Currently, she is Senior Social Media Coordinator, developing and implementing yli’’s social media calendar, coordinating marketing for yli’s Training & Consulting Services,and working in partnership with the Comms team to uplift yli’s values.
Fátima is currently based out of New York but continues to prioritize her community in the ECV. She is a huge film fan, enjoys baking and is always on the lookout for new music.
