Hilda Osuna Perez (she/her/ella)

Hilda has been living in the Central Valley since she was seven years old. She has a bachelor’s degree in Spanish Language and Culture from Fresno Pacific University. 

Hilda has a strong passion for education justice, cultural dignity, gender equity and local issues. Some of her previous work involved supporting first generation, low-income, and high school students living in rural communities to seek higher education. She also provided academic advising, financial aid assistance, and career exploration for at-risk and diverse students. In addition to her work experience, she has done heavy research on “Social inequality of Gender in the Zapoteca women of Oaxaca and Tetzal women of Chiapas.” She has also participated in local and national campaigns through canvassing and phone banking. She currently serves as a board member for Dreamers2gether Inc. and is committed  to organize and continue to advocate for immigration reform and family reunification. 

In her free time, Hilda enjoys going out of town with her partner and friends, going to concerts, and hanging out with her dogs, Nanook and Fritz.
