Jymanii was born and raised in Bakersfield, California and attended college at Cal Poly Humboldt in Arcata, California; they received a Bachelor’s of Science in Environmental Science and Management. While in college she gained more experience in social justice advocacy work, which led a career in the non-profit sector. Jymanii started her position at yli as a Program Coordinator of a Friday Night Live chapter at Justin Garza High School, where they focus on reducing underage marijuana usage while developing leadership skills and deepening the bond between the students and their community.
In their free time, Jymanii loves to relax by playing video games, crocheting, and watching horror movies. When not doing these three activities, she is spending time with her family and/or her pets at home. She also loves anything boba and matcha related.
