Shania was born and raised in Fresno, CA and graduated from UC Irvine with a B.S. in Biological Sciences. After college, Shania was part of the Americorps program where she worked with youth as a facilitator of the Stanford Youth Coaching Program. She also helped to plan career conferences at local colleges that drew over 200 youth participants from Fresno and Tulare County.
As a Program Coordinator for Prevention and Early Intervention, Shania runs the Friday Night Live Program at Mclane, building on the youth’s advocacy and leadership skills in their community. She is passionate about helping youth discover their full potential and use the skills that they have learned through the program.
In her free time, Shania loves to scrapbook, do yoga, and play video games with her friends. She also loves to try new restaurants and cafes.
