Ashly Castillo is a recent graduate from San Francisco State University with a bachelor’s degree in public health. Born in San Francisco and raised in the Philippines, she returned to California during her sophomore year of high school. Ashly is passionate about youth advocacy and is dedicated to improving public health and supporting communities. She previously interned during her senior year in college with yli, where she gained valuable insights into the operation of various programs aimed at empowering young people. Through her work with the San Mateo County Tobacco Education Coalition’s Youth Advisory Group, Ashly focuses on reducing tobacco use among youth and empowering her peers to make informed health choices.
In her free time, Ashly enjoys traveling, spending time at the beach with friends and family, and exploring new cuisines.
