yli ECV hosted a cooling event for young people where they received information on our programs and also heat safety tips from the HeatReadyCA Campaign. The event had various activities and DIY stations led by youth trust messengers for people of all ages. The stations included a DIY electrolyte drink, bracelet making station, hydro flasks decorations, and a slime making station. In addition, our local partner, Leadership Counsel for Justice and Accountability, were invited to share information about local policies regarding heat safety.
