Briana Guerrero is a macro social worker, digital strategist, and community advocate dedicated to advancing equity and power for marginalized communities. The daughter of two resilient immigrants, she grew up in one of San Francisco’s seven public housing projects, where she learned early that political decisions are lived realities for working-class families. A YLI alumna of the HOPE SF Youth research program, Briana earned her bachelor’s degree in Social Work and Women’s Studies, with a minor in Multicultural and Gender Studies, from California State University, Chico. She continued at Chico State to receive her Master of Social Work, grounding her work in systems change, intersectionality, and collective liberation. Briana currently serves as Digital Manager at Poder Latinx, where she leads national digital campaigns focused on civic engagement, immigrant justice, and environmental justice. Through strategic storytelling and organizing, she ensures Latinx communities are seen, heard, and mobilized. Her practice bridges social work and digital innovation to translate lived experience into action and policy impact. She is also the host of the Eco Poder Podcast, producing bilingual conversations on climate justice, community leadership, and accountability, and regularly trains emerging advocates to strengthen their digital and narrative power. Briana is committed to building inclusive, community-centered narratives that move people to action and keep frontline voices at the center of change.
