Josh first became involved with the Youth Leadership Institute when he was in 8th Grade, as a member of the Marin County Youth Commission. His successful efforts to reform the Marin’s youth criminal justice system resulted in an invitation to join YLI’s Board of Directors. Josh is now on his third term on the Board and serves as Secretary.
For his work with YLI programs, Josh was named a 2018 Marin County Youth Volunteer of the Year and also received a Certificate of Congressional Recognition from U.S. Representative Jared Huffman.
A native of West Marin, Josh attended San Domenico School and now studied Political Science at The George Washington University in DC.
