Carolyn Flores (she/her)

Carolyn (she/her) was born and raised in the Central Valley. She has been engaged in community and neighborhood work for almost two decades. Carolyn loves working with young people and adults to identify and uplift their unique gifts. In her 16 years of working in community based organizations, she has held a variety of different positions which aids in informing her view of her work and community.  She is currently serving on the Race Equity Advisory Committee for the Central Valley Community Foundation, Board Chair of the Lowell Community Development Corporation, which focuses on affordable housing in Downtown Fresno, and on the HOPE Advisory Committee for Hispañas Organized for Political Equality. 

Carolyn holds a Bachelors Degree in Sociology from California State University, Fresno and Masters Degree in Community Leadership and Transformation from Fresno Pacific University. 

Currently, Carolyn serves as yli’s Development Manager overseeing statewide development and implementation of systems for individual donors, campaigns and fund development at yli. She comes to this work with over a decade of experience.
