Amanda Barba (she/her)

Amanda grew up in Visalia, CA and attended Golden West High School. She spent her free time being a youth advocate and working with local non-profits to promote impactful social change. She received her Associates degree in Sociology from College of the Sequoias in 2019 and her Bachelors degree in Sociology from California State University Fresno in 2022. Amanda is passionate about community development and engagement via various social issue efforts. She has experience advocating for reproductive rights for all, Covid-19 outreach/prevention, and public policy. 

Amanda holds a sense of responsibility and moral obligation to engage with her community within the Central Valley and throughout California. She wishes to utilize her voice and engage youth to use their own voices to promote change and ultimately mold an environment in which equity is inevitable. In her free time, Amanda enjoys going on morning walks, practicing yoga, and cooking new meals.
