Long Beach Tobacco Youth Group is developing a media campaign to highlight the ways secondhand smoke, flavored tobacco, and vaping disproportionately affects youth in Long Beach.
This past year, youth in this program successfully advocated in support of the City of Long Beach’s Flavored Tobacco Ban. This year’s social media campaign effort is again being led by local youth in partnership with the Smoke-Free Long Beach Coalition and will continue to amplify local policy advocacy efforts in youth tobacco prevention.
