The Healing Generation Center is designed for Merced County disadvantaged youth to heal generational traumas that they have experienced in different areas of their lives. This program will provide a collaborative and interactive environment for youth whose lives have been severely disrupted through community-based partnerships across Merced County.
This innovative youth space offers programming and resources provided by 5 well-known Merced County organizations, such as: Valley Onward, Hlub Hmong Center, Indigenous Healing, Somos Familia Central, and Urbanists Collective. Each program focuses on representing youth and young adults who are of the underrepresented focus populations (Latino and LGBTQIA+ youth) as well as those transitioning from the justice system, facing barriers to employment, and/or education, as well as providing access to food and hygiene services.
The Healing Generation Center will host its Grand Opening on October 1st, 2024 from 4PM-6PM. Come join us for a celebration of youth and a chance to make connections! Register here if you would like to attend.
