Seven Los Angeles County youth were selected to participate in yli’s three-year statewide K-12 Youth Mental Health Fellowship, representing Long Beach as part of a statewide campaign. Through this program, youth identify gaps in youth-serving behavioral health services, gather peer input, and develop policy recommendations to expand access and equity. Fellows receive legislative training and travel to Sacramento twice a year to present their findings directly to state decision-makers – ensuring youth voice is at the forefront of mental health reform.
