This public service announcement was created by ECV youth Ashley Vega with support of Migdalia Sanchez. The PSA was inspired by the testimonies and knowledge of our community members, neighbors, and the loved ones of youth participants of Coachella Unincorporated. It is in honor of them, our home, and our struggle for a better world that we actively strive to make a reality through love and solidarity. The intent is to unveil the harms these sites create in our communities, shine light on how they result in the health impacts we commonly face and shrug off as normal, and center our existence, resilience, and hope for the future.
