At the Half Moon Bay City Council special meeting on July 14, the Council officially directed staff to work with the community to develop and implement a pilot Community Responder crisis-intervention program to improve the city’s response to mental illness, substance abuse, and homelessness. yli and other community partners played a key role in the planning stages of this policy, guiding city staff on the community’s needs.
