After months of research and data analysis by Coachella Unincorporated, ECV young people were invited to participate in an indoor “data walk” to review the Youth Participatory Action Research data results on air pollution. There were print out boards of the data graphics discussing the effects, causes, solutions, and recommendations of air pollution in the Eastern Coachella Valley. As a group, they read and discussed each graphic and participants had a note taking sheet during the walk to reflect and ask questions on what they read.
This workshop was in collaboration with the Desert Recreation District East Valley.
Special recognition to our Health Career Connections summer interns Vianey Holguin and Elissa Castro for supporting this event.
