yli culminated a two-year youth-led suicide prevention campaign in partnership with the Sierra Health Foundation and the statewide Never a Bother initiative. Eight youth leaders surveyed 120 peers across schools, events, and youth-serving organizations to better understand mental health needs and normalize help-seeking behaviors. They produced and distributed more than 250 copies of a 16-page youth suicide prevention zine, facilitated five interactive presentations engaging over 40 community members, and led a social media campaign through @VoiceWavesLB using videos, comics, and infographics that reached more than 5,000 viewers. The campaign centered lived experience and helped shift local narratives toward healing, peer support, and youth-driven wellness strategies.
