yli Long Beach served as a core leader of the Invest in Youth Coalition, partnering with Khmer Girls in Action, Long Beach Forward, and Educated Mentors with Meaningful Messages to advance youth leadership and equitable city investment. Ahead of the 2025 Invest in Youth Voter Fair, the coalition secured a record 1,250 youth pledges for the Youth Power Participatory Budgeting process, which allocated $550,000 in municipal funds to youth-serving organizations. During a City Council meeting, yli youth leader Gisselle Becerra Murillo presented on behalf of the coalition, calling for sustained and increased investment in youth as the Measure US Youth Fund approached its sunset.
