Oakland Police Commission Youth Leadership Council urges Oakland City Council members to uplift the Reimagining Public Safety Task Force recommendations that were prioritized by the City Council, including the proposed budget amendments to redirect $17 million dollars from the Oakland Police Department to the Department of Violence Prevention and Oakland (MACRO), which is a new Oakland emergency response pilot program.
