Justice Grows Here is a youth-led environmental justice and leadership program for Black, Indigenous and youth of color who are high school students in San Francisco. From September to April, youth meet weekly after school to explore environmental justice issues, develop leadership skills, and connect with career pathways in sustainability and public service.
The program includes hands-on learning, guest speakers, and a youth-designed civic engagement campaign that addresses a local environmental issue. Participants receive a $500 scholarship upon program completion.
