His journey from rural West Fresno to the city center has given him a deep appreciation for the power of community, and now he’s committed to giving back to the places that raised him.
As the Program Manager for Prevention and Early Intervention, Julio specializes in preventing underage alcohol use. He works with his team of Program Coordinators across Fresno County, supporting over 20 chapters. Julio helps them develop effective campaigns and manages relationships with stakeholders and funders. With his rich background, deep understanding of rural communities, and a career focused on community engagement and youth development, Julio is perfectly positioned to address this challenging issue.
