Working with Senior Coastsiders to Combat Climate Change
- This event has passed.
October 21, 2020 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
You are invited to a virtual World Café during which you will work with others to consider and prioritize different approaches to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to support City and County Climate Action Planning. Additionally, there will be a brief report back and appreciation for past input.
Through this engaging world cafe style workshop, you will be part of a thoughtful conversation to develop innovative solutions unique to our coastal community. Whether you are joining the conversation for the first time, or have attended past events, we invite all interested community members to participate.
The community’s ideas and priorities can inform climate planning for Half Moon Bay AND unincorporated Coastal communities from Montara to Pescadero to Loma Mar and La Honda.
By attending the workshop, you’ll automatically be entered into a raffle. We’ll be giving away gift cards at the end of the workshop. Please register soon to reserve your space. This workshop is offered by the San Mateo County Office of Sustainability and the City of Half Moon Bay.
