Since Nathen graduated high school in 2022, they have been a passionate community advocate. He participated in Fund Our Futures, an affordable housing campaign in Merced led by PowerCalifornia, where he canvassed and phonebanked Merced residents to vote for Merced city council to pass an affordable housing trust fund. The campaign was successful and Merced city council established a 500k affordable housing trust fund.
Outside of work, Nathen likes to play video games, like League of Legends and Overwatch, and read. The last book he finished was The Song Of Achilles.
