Colectiva de Padres “Union y Esperanza” de Loma Verde – is a group of Latino parents who participated in a six-week leadership ‘training. They analyzed the barriers in their lives that affect their children’s education.  They confronted their fears and gained leadership skills (ie. public speaking, critical thinking, goal setting, organizing, and implementation) as a team.
