Alternatives to Policing
yli stands with our communities across the country who are resisting police violence and calling for community-centered alternatives. Throughout the state, our youth are uplifting the stories of those impacted by police brutality; campaigning to remove Student Resource Officers – who target youth of color – from school campuses and replacing them with counselors, mental health resources and transformative justice practices; and creating healing alternatives to policing that address root causes.
